i feel dumb asking...
Well in my frustrated state of mind after a combination of getting called back to work and not recieving any help (at the time) on vette problems...I kinda locked up the vette with my keys inside 
any tips on getting in short of calling a locksmith

I'm not sure if the 92's have the PKE system. If yours does and the key and FOB are locked inside, all you have to do is rock the car to wake up the FOB. That will unlock the car.
Exact same think happened to my wife a few years ago at a gas station. Worked like a charm.

This happened to me when I first got the car and I did the same thing. I got a coat hanger and went fishing! Glad to hear you got the keys.
