I just had my optispark replaced under warranty :D . While they were fixing it they noticed that my plug wires are bad. I was thinking about replacing them with Taylor Spiro Pro. Does anybody have any other recommendations? I want quality, but I am not made of money either. Thanks.
I wanted the OEM look in a performance wire on the Vette so it now has a set of TPIS wires; the IROC has MSD 8.5mm SuperCondurcors with the lowest resistance of any wire and very good heat resistance.
Replaced mine with a set of Bosch's... nearly perfect fit (they were slightly longer). The wire crimps and boots are great with these and are reasonably priced.
The only reason to go with some "high performance" brand is for a color change. You'll never experience a performance enhancement with 'em. The only exception would be if you run headers and have wire clearance problems. Then you may want to consider a brand that claims resistance to burning at very high temps.
