Default MAP Sensor mount

I looked into the MAP sensor mounting spot today on Google, the HSR has port for a MAP sensor,, but there is no way under the sun to mount the MAP sensor higher than the vacuum port for the MAP.

I guess the best I can do is point the MAP sensor vacuum port downward

Mine is mounted to the back of the intake and the vacuum (or pressure) is drawn from ~1" further down in the base of the manifold.

And the ESC signal to the FAST goes to the ESC box input.

I made a angle mounting bracket bolted to pass side of plenum with a line running to the vac port at rear

Thanks A !

I think I will put another port in the plenum so I can move the fitting lower.

Can I use a 10-32 brass barbed fitting or should I use a 1/8" NPT, my question I guess is,, does the fitting I.D. matter?

I have fittings all hidden on the backside which is why you see plugs up on the plenum area. I like everything to be very neat and clean. No stray wires or hoses.

Either fitting should work. The key on mine is to ensure that I use nipples that have a sholder so that I can either use a hose clamp or a tiewrap to secure in place. 30 psi tends to find places to exit...
