Default Camber Brace going in tonight

Camber Brace going in tonight or at least starting the project tonight. Any words of wisdom, tips, strategies before I tear into this thing. As soon as I finish my turkey samich I'm headin down stairs.

No beers in the fridge so my install time should be reasonable.

Geez, It's a good thing this was an easy install. It took an hour including jacking up the car and putting it back down.

It's raining here in CT so I can't go test it. I will however tomorrow and get back to those interested.

Dave Cooper: It's a nice fit, no problems anywhere except for not having an 18mm socket.

Sorry for the delay to those waiting with bated breath. The difference in over-all stiffness was surprising. I wasn't expecting it to be that noticable on a roadster. I noticed it the most during high speed turning/ lane changing and over -all tightness and front end quietness on rough road conditions.

What I considered the "wet noodle syndrome" is now tight as a gnats ***.

You will shocked at how tight your coupe will be after putting the camber brace in. I couldn't believe how well it works with the targa top off. Try it, you'll like it. Other than new swaybars, this is one of the best mods I've done, esp for the money. BTW, Dave's customer service is the best. I called him three time while in the middle of the install. He was very patiant. Look out for the ECT sensor on LT1/4 motors. I ripped mine off and had to splice it.

Eric

Well....During cornering/turning my chasis would seem to turn before the body would. That is to say the body would have to catch up to chasis. (no, it's not the shocks-I just put on 4 new Bilstiens) It would roll around. That feeling is gone. I haven't put too many miles on her since the install but plan on playing with it quite a bit this weekend.

Guys, put 'em on. I used only one tool, a 18mm socket, to complete the whole project. I did,'t even have to remove my serpentine belt.

MrNuke, It's not as easy on the 85 but still not bad you will have to remove the power steering pump pully so you can get the a arm bolt all the way out and relocate the power steering fluid reservior and the AC evaporator. But it was worth it I cant belive the differencne on the street I will be using it this weekend on the track for the first time. You might want to get an alignment after just to make sure.
