Headlights don't open?

My headlights currently do not open, they are now staying open by using twist ties :yes nod: I cannot open it using the manual way either, so I'm thinking its the bushings. I need a suggestion on a good rebuild kit that contains bushings, gear, and the locking pin with two holes that you spread apart (the name escapes me). Thanks.

If the bushings are bad you will hear a noise when activated. Any sound?

Yes it does, to me it sounds like the motors are spinning. But its just not rotating the lights.

That would be typical of failed bushings, could also be broken gears but bushings are far more common.

If it were me, I would get bushings and gears so that I do it once and be done with it. My gears looked OK but on closer inspection some time later, I found that there was a hairline fracture. Glad I have done it all
