Service Engine Soon on hard acceleration
My 1993 runs great and shows no driveability issues. I just bought it this summer and have been working through a few minor bugs and have now this one remaining issue.
When I hammer on it real hard, at about 100 mph, the service engine soon light comes on. There are no signs that anything is truely wrong, just this darn light which goes out after I lift off the gas.
Anybody got any ideas?

Your cars computer stores both active and historical (previously active) fault codes. The link below will show you how to retrieve these codes.

Depending on what codes are stored you may need to invest in a factory service manual to run the problem down.
