What is the best thing to do with the wiring on the starter to protect them from the heat of the header tubes? extend them and reroute? high temp wire covers? Does any one have pictures of what they did? Or how the did it? Some of the wires go over to the AC system area?

A starter blanket actually works better than the origional shield. I also rerouted my wires to be a bit farter away from the exahaust, but those wires are heat resistant. Just don't let them touch the exhaust itself.
