Hi all I would like to try and calculate the approximate CR that my motor will have with various thickness head gaskets before I buy one. I'm using stock pistons with the 4 eyebrow looking reliefs. However I'm changing the cam to have a lift of .512/.519. I haven't received the cam yet to have it installed and just measured but was wondering how to estimate this portion of the formula.
Also with the stock piston would I be far off assuming a 4.5cc for +.275 volume in the cylinder? Thanks to anyone willing to set me on the right path.

Download and install the DCR calculator at bottom of page in this link.
Allows you to calc CR ( and change inputs to see affect on CR ) and if you have cam specs available can calc DCR
