I have a 1990 coupe w/ a 10:1 421 stroker, Biggs 950hp carb, air gap intake, dart pro1 230cc heads and MSD ignition. It also has a healthy cam (260 duration/.550 lift). I want to go back to efi (fuel percolation problems), but the question keeps bugging me, how can I get the ecm to merge with the new one, especially the a/c controller. I live in florida, and climate control is a must. I have a toggle switch to ground the a/c relay but would like it to work properly.
I searched all over, but nowhere can i find an answer to this question.
Also, what is the best system to get? The Fast ez efi doesnt control spark, but seems the easiest to get working without a tuner (Good reviews anyway). Tuners are a pain at best (have had terrible luck) and expensive.
Any and all help is appreciated.

I am in the middle of a FAST XFI 2.0 install, and will use my AC, the FAST has two wires that go from the Fast ECU to your compressor, A 24 which tells the FAST ECU that the AC is on and the ECU will adjust the idle etc,,
and B-11 that will control a 4-pin relay ( you add ) that will drop the Ground , based on ECU parameters, when you exceed X.XX TPS voltage etc.
It is possible and you can buy a harness for a C4 Corvette
Why, with the mods that you mentioned, would you want to go to an aftermarket system when a stock ECM and a dyno tuned custom prom, with proper sized injectors, could handle your fuel, spark and stock accessories? Hell, I used to ask this question when I was a dealer for aftermarket engine management systems.
(Edit) Oops, sorry, forgot about your comment on bad luck with tuners. Hope a tunerless system works out.
