I have a 93 and need an air cond comp. ,They are very expensive. What years will fit my car ,if a 93 to 96 works then I'll just change the refrigerant.. Will a Camaro or Firebird LT1 work. Any help is greatly appreciated Jim

I work as a Commercial/Industrial A/C Technician and I often try to help people on the Forum with their systems. Everyone complains about how bad R-134a is but they aren't willing to do it right.This site has some great information on the proper way to retrofit R-134a and the so called drop in replacements.

Thanks UC11 for the offer ,but I think mine is different, and to everyone elso for thier input,SUNCR a fellow forum member sent me an email on how to repair mine the instructions were great . So I'm going to try the repair and recharge my self, by the way most shops in my area wanted about $600. to do this job, I think it will cost me about $125. You guys on the forum are the greatest ,thanks for helping the old man out Jim.
