Well on the pro side, you can tune the suspension and corner weight the car eaisier.
On the con side:
Class bump, do you have enough HP and experience to compete in the class the coilovers will place you in
The suspension is adjustable - can you get enough test time to make it work. make a mistake and the handling can be lots worse.

Just go for an upgrade kit and keep the mono spring system. You can get better handling, and stay in the class. Plus, it's cheaper.
I know I have seen these kits all over the place. Lots of companies make this kind of kit.
The coilover kits DRASTICALLY improve handling performance. Combined with aftermarket adjustable sway bars, toe bars, control arms, on and on and on, and you can create a car that runs on rails. It'll make your car feel light as a feather.... along with your wallet...
Longer bolts. If you look at your suspension you will see the stock bolts. It gives you a little bit of play right now. Remember, the farther toward the end of the bolt, the lower the car.
Oh, btw, speaking of SCCA, I lost my class manual and I can't find it online. Does anyone have a copy? Possibly a PDF or just a website? I'm asking here instead of opening a new thread because it's related here and I don't want to start a new thread for such an insignificant reason.
ok. well this gives me alot to think about. im running a stock motor and trans and for now stock suspension. b-stock is already me running with cars a few hundred pounds lighter but AWD. i gotta get this thing to keep the tail planted and the front from understeering. i know that first the lower center of gravity will help a ton.... brakes are on the way. and i'm trying to stay in the tire class.
