ACTUATOR FOR HEAT FLAP WHERE IS IT?
I haven,t received a reply yet on this topic and I am in need of help. I still have no heat, I think the problem is at the flap. Do I need to remove dash to access the actuator? Any help would be great .

If it is the same as my 95, you can manually change the position from cold to hot from under the hood. It takes about 5 minutes. On the passenger side just forward of the firewall, there is a connector mounted on your heat/cool (sorry don't know the real name for it) box. It is hooked onto an aluminum sensor that bolts into the top of the box. If I remember right, there are 3 small hex head screws holding in. Remove it, and look down in the box with a flashlight to see the position of the door. You can manually adjust the door from cold to heat with a long screwdriver or yardstick.

Rolling thunder, I have checked it out at the heat sink the flap is fixed in position, linkage is good. But I can't get any movement . I think it's in the actuator do you have any suggestions?
