Okay so I have been searching this for quite a while now and never really found an answer. I just bought 3 qts of Royal Purple synchromax for my zf6. I have not put it in yet.
Can anyone tell me if this is good oil for the ZF6 or not? Thanks!

Did you check with Royal Purple? They should be able to give you a yea or nay on using it. I just had my T-56 rebuilt and that is what they reccomend instead of Dex2.
I know it says it is for manual transmissions. Now check this out. I used to buy that one for my DD and it was making noise and grinding on 4th gear, One day I visited RP website and found out that RP actually recommended 20W50 for my DD's transmission. I did it and all problems went away.
I checked for the Vette ZF Tranny and RP recommends 5W30 or XPR — Extreme Performance Racing 5W30.

Only ONE WAY TO KNOW.
*Put it in.
*Run it ~3000 miles
*Drop it and take a clean sample
*Send the sample in for analysis.
*Review the results.
This was sone on the 3S forums and the results (in the Getrag trans) was unacceptable.
