Checked booster which was replaced in april has vaccuum to it and holds it. No warning lights, here relays click on abs and buzz of self test pedal moves at the same time. Have not had time to pull wheels off yet but no visual indication of any caliper problems. If i have time tonight and no rain plan on bleeding them but doubt it would make any difference. Fluid level has not changed either.
Is there a way to by pass the abs stuff?
I had the same problem with my 86. I replaced everything but the ABS and still hard pedal. I finally got pi$$ed and decided I'll either fix it or break it. I pulled the abs fuse and on a deserted road at about 40 mph I stood on the brake pedal with both feet. They locked. After the smoke cleared I had great brakes. And flat spots on my tires but hey, can't have everything. Put the abs fuse back in and a year later still have great brakes. Warning: There is some risk trying this method. You could blow a brake hose or master cylinder or something and have NO brakes. Just saying, it worked for me.

I like your train of thought, it actually had a crappy soft pedal until i went out and jammed the brakes a few times. Now it has a hard no stop pedal. I did note when i locked them up they did not pulsate like the old chevy's i recall, should it ?
