Please help check my conversion harness pins (1985 to MAP)
I'm working on a conversion harness to directly interface the 7730 to the 6870, without cutting up the stock harness. (Plug and play, keeping the original 85 coupler intact for emergency use.)
Maybe I am going about it the wrong way, but here is what I have worked out so far for my jump harness pinning.
Vehicle has no emissions (A.I.R.) / VATS / has AT.
you will also need to pull out your knock module and connection the wire that goes to the ecm to the knock at the knock module location. the pinout at chevythunder.com is dead on.
you can install a different end on the maf and repin it at the ecm so it will be your map. thirdgen.org is another great resource.
I have pin F9 on the #1227730 as the knock sensor input listed currently.
I've based this configuration upon the ECM pinouts at ChevyThunder.com

the maf goes through a esc knock module under the hood, the dark blue wire going to the knock gets wire too the black wire. your esc knock module is going bye bye, The 1227730's memcal contains the knock board.
