1995 mild stumble at acceleration
Hello everyone,
I thought i would start here before seeing my mechanic. And it is almost storage season up here in Minnesota.
But my 1995, 6 speed has just started having a minor hesitation when i accelerate in 1st and 2nd. I have no warning lights, but a month ago when i was at highway speeds and pushed down on the throttle to pass in 4th, there was NO response, and there was no stall or anything, just no response to accelerate. The battery light came on for a split second. I pulled off, turned the car off and restarted, started right up with no issues. Then this minor hesitation.
Ideas?

I had a similar issue on my '94 and a new TPS cured it.
Also, C4 fuel tanks are not baffled very well around the pickup so if you accelerate while cornering with less than half-tank you may notice a stumble from lack of fuel at the pick-up.
