Headlight sticks !!! annoying
94. I go to turn my headlights on, and MY right headlight will go half way and stop. I have to get and manually flip it right. They also making a noise for 10 seconds after I shut them. Can someone tell me whats going on so I can order the parts on ecklers.com. I am thinking maybe the gears are stripped? I looked on the site and found like 3 different types of gears, I am confused.

Ive done this few times and the gears are always in good shape. The nylon bushings are the ones that get broken into small pieces.
They sell brass gears and aluminum bushings.

i have the exact same problem... my right head light gets stuck half way coming up. how do you fix this? - do you have a link online to where I can order this aluminum bushing?
i was going to go to a junkyard tomorrow and buy a new motor assembly?
