Default Electronic Speed Sensor Adapter for C4???

Who makes a 7/8" cable speedometer sender to C4 electronic speed sensor adapter???

This would be to adapt the Corvette speedometer dash cluster, ECU, etc for use with an older cable drive speedometer transmission.

This site seems to have something like what I'm looking for -

http://www.transmissioncenter.org/sp...ar_housing.htm

But I believe the C4 sensor is a 4 pulse generator...

Summit lists an Autometer sensor adapter, but the disclaimer says it will not work with OEM speedometers...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-5291/

I know that the hot rodders and show car builders must have come up with some kind of adapter, and it wouldn't be hard to design & make...

Does anyone know if this adapter is available anywhere???

Thank You!

Are you running stock ECM?
On the '727 TPI cars, the speedo signal comes from the ECM; not directly from the VSS. IIRC, the LT1's use the same setup

On '165 TPI cars ,the VSS signal goes to cluster 1st , then outputs to the ECM

2000 pulse for 84 - 89

4000 pulse for 90 -92

Yes, 165 ECM, cluster/speedo from an 86 TPI Vette. That 2000 pulse looks like the one that might work. I have an email in to those people asking if it will work for my application.

Thank you for the link!
