I'm getting new tires put on today and was going to have them align the car while they were at it. Last week I caught a post in this section detailing some camber and toe settings for better handling/traction. Anyone have those settings? I remember the rear was 3/32 toe in, but I can't remember anything for the camber or front toe.

Re: Alignment (97Supra)
I did my own alignment and experimented with different settings. I street drive only so these numbers reflect the way I drive. For high performance racing driving, you may want to something completely different.
Front: Toe = 0" to 1/8" total (or 1/16" per side)
Camber = .25 degree negative
Camber = 4-6 degrees
Rear: Toe = 1/16" to 3/16" total (or 1/16+" per side)
Camber = .5 degree negative
The closer to zero toe, the more "light" the steering and car will handle. Too little toe will make the car feel darty and less controllable at higher speeds especially on road with ruts. I ran 0" rear toe for a while but on the freeway, it took too much effort to keep the car in the center of its lane. I increased the toe to 1/16" per side and it feels light but not darty.
What do you guys think of the Firestone Lifetime alignment for $129.99? I asked and they said it can be done as many times as I want as long as I own the car and I can even bring a customized spec sheet for a certain type of alignment.

Re: Alignment (opel)
Well, you have toe in and toe out. Toe out I guess is positive but most just express toe as a measurement or degrees assuming toe in. Although some gymkana racers set up their suspension with toe out to help them get into a corner quicker but on the street, toe out is not recommended as the car will be "darty".
