I've worked with the EBL stuff...it works fine although many tables are tittled differently than using other Tuner pro or C.A.T.S type hacks. All software (tuner pro) and definitions are propriatary to the ebl, so any other hacks/def. bins etc. or any other SD files cannot be used.

If you are tyring to improve the 85 ecm, I would re-pin and use the 165 ecm. For other applications that require SD (blowers etc.) or just wanting to convert to SD, I would re-pin/and or re-wire for the 727/730 ecm.

Default Dynamic efi

Yeah Mick Knows his stuff.I have the 165 computer.I was thinking this would be a better route to go than buying all the Moates stuff for tuning. Dynamic EFI sells the updated speed density computer and Daughter board for $455.Is this system easier to tune and does it accommodate a wide band 02 sensor.

On thirdgen.org there is a very long thread started by RBob outling the EBL on day one of its creation. Q and A. May want to check it out. All your questions have already been asked. Also may want to search there for EBL. Every possible Q has been asked. I bet I have a 100-500 treads started on EBL. Also you will note he answers in 24 hour or typically in an hour. i am still waiting for a response form Holley on my N20 Q. It has been 2 weeks now!

One his site are links to Intro to tuning with EBL part 1 + 2. All is explained in detail. Part 1 is TunerPro and datalogging part 2 is tuning tips and explanation of the constants, flags, tables in tunerpro and his EBL specific XDF as mentioned above.

RBob is probably the most knowledgeable tuner out there on the older ECMs. He has a very broad and detailed knowledge of the code and the electronics. He wrote a lot of the tuning stickies on ThirdGen.org.

If you mean the air pump (A.I.R.) then the EBL P4 does support it.
