Default Chip Options?

I had Jeremy Formato burn my chip back around 2000.

I had water (5+ gallons) get into the tank last year and SHOULD have done some troubleshooting on, it but didn't. I left it for 6+ months, and the 24# SVO injectors were toast. I went to 24# Bosch3 injectors, and my car is now running pig rich and idles like $hit.

I sent the data capture files to Jeremy and asked for a new chip, only to be told they no longer do EPROMS (even though when they did mine I was told I could have it re-burned at no cost, anytime).

I then asked if they had my last chip file, and was told they have had multiple hard drive crashes and lost it.

So, who can get the "current" burn from my chip and tweak it for the new injectors so it runs like it USED to?

P.S. I'm thinking I might go ahead and bump the pressure to 50 PSI to get better atomization on the injectors...I've seen posts here about the benefits of that.

I think what he meant, is there just a memcal or is it tied into an adapter. No matter, you have two choices at this point:

Physically send it (the memcal) off to somebody to read &/or burn the chip on the memcal, then they send it back;

Get your own equipment from Moates and read it yourself. That way you can load your own mail order bins from a tuner.

I second Ron's suggestion on checking with Mseven

Ah...yes, just a standard memcal. No adapter used.

I was wondering what he was asking...
