Default C4 Brake Info???

We currently powder coated C5 & C6 calipers and are exploring to do the same with C4 calipers. Are the C4 calipers the same from 1984-1996 front and rear? If their not the same, what are differences and what year are they different?

The JL9 calipers are similar but much smaller than the stock c5 fronts
The J55 calipers are a lot different but similar in size to the c5 fronts
Some years the rear calipers integrated the parking brake.

I think the short answer is the fronts vary by type and the rears vary by year

I assume everyone wants either C5 or C6 fronts or the J55s.... integrated parking brake for the rear is a PITA

Maybe we can do them if the customer sends in his own calipers.. this way we know he is getting back the correct calipers

Thanks for the offer..... if you need some one to powder coat your calipers we can do it but we would want to do the set you have as we don't have any cores.
