Corsa Muffler Only
Guys,
Was in an accident with my 91 polo green.
I know this isnt the parts section, but I am looking for a muffler or advice on where I can just get the drivers side without spending 1000 on the whole kit, which I already did a year ago.
The drivers side muffler was banged up good, but the rest of the cat back is fine.
I am looking for one drivers side muffler only. The corsa mufflers are the same on the LT1 and L98, and maybe the LT4.
Anyone have any ideas?

1) Yes, Corsa does sell the mufflers individually. Around $300 apiece when I bought them about 2 years ago.
2) Yes, I actually have one of each side! There are tiny bits of calatyst remnant in the resonant chambers, but the sound is unaffected (I bought new ones because I thought it was a problem, but the problem was elsewhere). Let me know if you're interested.

Could you get a pic or 2 of the drivers side? What are you looking for as far as price? Shipping to 02914.
I called corsa twice. They say they no longer sell just parts of their system. Their invintory is in kits now and they do not break up kits to sell individual parts anymore. They mentioned something about the economy and its less productive to sell just parts of a kit rather than the whole kit.
I even had a local corsa dealer try to source a muffler from them, and they denied him. Times are changing it seems.

I am just trying to help. I read this whole thread and no one has chimed in with great results finding your muffler. I thought it could be a cheap way to get something in there untill you find what you need. I hope you don't find a muffler now ! D!ck
