How many Miles do Injectors last?
Hi All,
Just wondering how many miles injectors should last. Mine are the original with 200,000 plus. What signs would indicate them needing to be changed? Thanks! :chevy

That's gotta be some kinda service record for the General.
If they are leaking, sticking open/closed or getting weak they should be serviced.
Check the resistance of each; replace any that differ widely from the others.
Hard warm starting is a symptom of leaking injecotors.
A sooty spark plug will show a rich running cylinder, a ashy white plug will show a lean running cylinder.
Of course these latter tests might not show up an injector that's marginal. Such could be costing you power or fuel economy.
I just got mine (all 9) back from Rich at Cruzin Performance and several were leaky, which accounts for my hard warm start problem.
