Going to a car show I noticed my coolant temp would not cool from 230-231, this was on a 60ish degree night.
I'm now leaving the car show and the thing stalls out near the entrance of an on-ramp and the "Service Engine Soon" light comes on....luckily I pulled over to a safe area right before the ramp.
I thought opti spark....but I cranked her back up and she started to run. I thought about risking the on-ramp but it stalled out again.
So everytime I cranked her she started right up. I wasn't going to risk it so I called a tow truck......(my 4th one I think)
Finally at the house, I scan her and no codes appear. I test the fuel pressure and it's spitting out 40 PSI at idle and barely 45 PSI when I rev it. Could a lack of 5 PSI cause the car to stall??
Also I'm having alternator issues, if that may be part of the problem.

Fuel pressure should be 41-47 psi (key on engine off) --6-10 psi less when running-don't think you have a fuel pressure issue. Usually ICMs will crap out when hot and not restart until they cool down a bit. I'm not saying it couldn't be the ICM but they don't usually restart immediately. When it shuts down is your foot on the accelerator or are you letting off the gas ?

It was shutting down on me when giving it gas.
Today I did some more tests and It seems as if there was some lag when giving it gas. Like the RPMS just wouldn't match the engine sound....I'm really hoping it's not the opti spark again...I changed it not 5k miles ago. The ICM is not even 10k miles old.
