Default running rough

I have a 94 corvette lt1 that I swapped. The comp. was "tuned" before I bought the motor and ran fine. The motor sat for roughly 3 years before I installed. I cleaned out the fuel rail, nasty looking gas, I did nothing with the injectors. The motor fired right up but runs rough at idle and hesitates on accl.It aslo back fired only sometimes. The new add-ons I installed are headers w/o2, EGR delete. I changed the plugs and wires, 1 plug had a lot of carbon., no change to performance. I have a new in-line fuel pump and filter, summit fuel cell, and summit MAS. What can I check before tearing into the optispark. I think it may be running lean.

Factory Service Manual. Some believe if you don't have one you can't work on these cars.
