I tried jamming the seat bottom to the rear did not come out of harness. Can any one tell me how to get the seat out? The track won't go back by the switch only the lumbar and seat raise buttons work. Is there a special fuse for the track.
On the front of the seat bottom plastic piece there is a metal clip in the middle.take a small screw driver and push the clip down and back under the seat. Then the seat bottom will pull up and out from the front. You can then get to the bolts on the seat.

It helps if you push down with some heavy pressure on the front of the seat base. You may not even need a screwdriver to pop the clip off if you apply enough pressure.
When you try to move the seat, are there any sounds from the motor? The motor drives a flexible shaft that moves the track. The gears are plastic and they may be broken.
Once the base is out, there are 4 bolts that hold the plastic seat assembly (base and back) to the frame (bolts are at the corners of the base). Remove the bolts and you will then be able to get to the 4 nuts that hold the seat frame to the floorpan.
Once you get the seat out, have a wheel barrow handy to haul all the pocket change away to the coin counter thing at the grocery store...
The typical "haul" yeilds around $5.83 for a 25 yr old garage queen. A DD of the same age can give up as much as $11 and a few petrified french fries...Tic-tacs and rolaids too...
