Default chip tuner - 1987 383 stroker

I need to find a tuner for my 383 stroker in my 1987 coupe. Located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. I've tried several mail order chips. No luck. I want someone locally with the knowledge and equipment . Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Despite me not giving him any datalog information whatsoever, Mick got my heavily modified corvette running just about perfect on his initial start-up chip.... maybe by dumb luck, I don't know, nor do I care.....

I recommend him.

I believe he lives in Michigan too. Do not remember where though.

Is Mick a drummer by trade? If so, he has worked on my vette.

Mick's a friend, but if he is unavailable or not interested for any reason, I can probably help you with your tuning needs. I'm local and have all the necessary tuning equipment.

Are you looking for a dyno tune or steet/track based tune? If dyno is desired, you would have to rent dyno time somewhere. What issues are you trying to solve with the car?

Feel free to pm me if you're interested or have any questions.

M7 Mick Stevens is Rumored ( Legendary ) to be the Very Best at Tuning a C4 with a stock ECM in any street or race engine trim level.

He knows his stuff when it comes to EFI tuning from what I have witnessed here on C4 in the last few years.

Mick is having some family issues and has not been able to do tuning for the last couple of weeks. Not sure when he will be back at it. Our prayers go out to his family.

Mseven did the sd tune for the 90 I had (that the p/o had a level VI $600 + dyno time and a couple retunes and it still sucked and had horrible drivability but dyno'd good). He nailed the tune the first time.

I hooked up with Him and TB at Milan last year and we spent a couple hours chatting over some food and libations. The knowledge he has with SD and the knowledge TB has with MAF is amazing - you can't go wrong with either! They're buddies and not egomaniacs

What M7 is going through is no fun.

Been there myself in past.

Like to hire Mick myself when he is ready to come back.
I Changed out the Fuel injectors in my 87 Vert this past weekend.
Bosch 3's 'R' out.
Other New aftermarket 24lb's are in.
Car runs much better now.
Way more low end torque & midrange power.
Runs a little rich at idle but not bad.
47 psi FP with vacuum line off of FP regulator.
Low as my adjustable Mallory FP regulator will allow.

No Ron,

No Ponzi investment dude involved with my new fuel injectors.

I bought them from Summit Racing.

Almost said the hell with fuel injectors & that old dinosaur L98 TPI in my car.

I took Kool88Corvettes from California's advice>>>>Fred.
I read back 3 or 4 years on all of his own posts.
I knew he was not lying.
Very Glad I listened to him.

Just Ficking Awesome set of Fuel injectors I installed into my 87 Vert Saturday evening.
You can't even here them clicking away at engine idle from 2 feet away.
I get 6 inches away with my left ear, I barely here them clicking.
Throttle response rules.
Feels like a modern LS-1 engine.
Till you hit the TPI window of running out of air.

Left burnout marks of Goodyear GSC 315's all around ...................
Just stabbing the gas hard & fast.
No Power brake.
I quit after leaving a set of Twin 315 posi trac burnouts after 50 feet long & got out of it........

Thanks to all for the kind words and your sympathies are appreciated. My father past away about a week ago and was devastating for both myself and my mother.
To those of you that have been most patient I would like to say 'thanks' for your consideration. I will start up again this week and working on everyones tuning...thanks again for your patience. Mick
