Nice build. I'll bet it was alot of work with the converted SBC heads and converted HSR 1206 ports. Did you do the conversion yourself? Did you save some money over using LT1 specific heads and intake?

Wow.. 12.2 compression ratio!! Is that why you used the MLS head gasket?

Thank-you, I already had theses heads dialed on another build.. the conversion is not extremely hard.. but I sent them out $500. Slightest surface, coolant port welded and cross drilled for the oil return.. I believe this is a Better choice over the only 64cc AFR 2,300 LT1 heads.. The HSR welded on material to make a 1206 port that had to match the heads...and welded the front coolant passage shut...
And yes. can't afford using a stock gasket on this setup..

Huh that's funny I had these inj and tuned perfect on my 358 build with .125 domes same heads 11:1 and HSR.. that combo was making 450+ HP... You think maybe with this combo I lost .. HP I'm pretty positive this is way over 500 HP..

Injectors are huge but if they work at low RPM then nothing lost really and if you want 1000hp at least you won't have to change them again lol.

Nice build and nice GS Clone!

Any dyno numbers yet?

Also, do you have any pictures of the hood or scoop etc?
