ratio for roller rockers

i want to change into roller rockers kit
anybody can tell me what ratio is the best for a street use.

1.5 or 1.6 ratio ??

i need the experience of those that have change.

A stock L98 will typically gain 10HP from full rollers and another 5-6HP from 1.6:1RRs.

go with the 1.6, you may need taller valve covers though for clearence.

L98 or LT1??? If you are going with the 1.6 rr you really need to change more than just the rockers. There is a good article in the April issue of Vette magazine where they did some tests with a 383.

1.5s are a simplier mod and provides a good performance increase for the $$$ spent.

If you don't want to run taller valve covers w/the roller rockers you have to cut the drip tabs out of your valve covers. I run Comp Cams roller rockers and this was in the instructions. I used a Dremel tool w/a thin cutting disk to cut them out, then ground them smooth. After the fight of removing the valve covers everything went smooth. I'd rate it as a two six pack job. Good luck
