Lowering the rear on a C4.
What needs to be done to lower the rear on my 95 about 1-1.5"? I think it sits just a little high. Will lowering it throw off all of the wheel alignment settings? Thanks alot.

You can either buy the kit from one of the corvette suppliers or you can try to find some grade 8 bolts that are about 2" longer than stock and replace those at the end of the rear spring on the back side of the rear hub assy. Yes it will affect your rear alignment, but only in the camber department if you go super low. Toe in shouldn't be affected. Take a good look at the rubber bushings when you do this and replace if they are worn out and looking nasty. Don't go too low because the front end will seem to be higher and that will make the car a little skittish at higher speeds. Measure ride height on both sides at the center of the wheel well with a tape measure or yard stick before and after the job. Get it even. Good luck. :seeya
