Default Non-vented Opti - Where to buy?

Thinking I might need a new one; mine's acting f-u-n-n-y. Also, planning on "upgrading" it.

There seems to be quite a price spread on these - while at an autoparts store this weekend I asked 'em what they sold it for...
Opti Assy - $160 ??? This seems low. What are they really selling?
Distributor Cap - $180
Rotor - $40

Thanks.

Call Jeff Kopp at Superior Chevrolet: (800)728-8267. I think they go for around $340. Also try http://www.gmpartsdirect.com.

That is the normal price for a 1996 opti But your is around $340 at a good price. Most GM guy screw you for $565... :mad I got done this way about two years ago.. the installation and the part was $1200 :boxing . This forum is a great way to cross reference and understand the vette industry
PS that price did include a new water pump.

Yeah, mine just went. For intake leak, opti and water pump, the dealer wanted $1600.

For parts I am looking about about $300 doing it myself.
