Hi...I have always liked the Chrome ZR1 wheels..i think they might be called A-mold wheels....I found this for sale close by..Zr1 Chrome wheels for sale 17x9.5...not sure what width my factory wheels are...I think the bolt pattern is the same...and the off set should not be an issue...I need to verify my tire size currently
17x9.5...
not sure what width my factory wheels are....
and the off set should not be an issue..
My question is will they Fit my 1990.....
Your 90 rims are same size
If they are all 9.5" ( ZR1 rears were 11" ) then they are aftermarket and should have correct offset
( unless they were made to suit a 84 -87 car that has a different offset)
Stock ZR1 wheels are 38mm offset and won't fit your car. Most aftermarkets are the 38mm but some are made in 54 mm that will fit. You need to check what the offset is from the buyer. If you had an 84-87 like mine they (the 38mm ones) are a direct bolt on.
Pinnacle Autoworks has them on sale new for $579.00. They have 17X9.5's in 54mm offset that will fit your car. Check out their website. I'm buying the 17X11's with the 38mm offset for my car which is a racecar.
One other aspect to this swap is that the aftermarket wheels with the correct offset are heavier than the stock ZR1 wheels. I don't remember what the difference is. I saw a chart somewhere when I was looking into putting these wheels on my car.
One of those "Wha....???!!!" things is that America's Tire Store (Discount Tire) told me they will NOT put wheels on a car with spacers. Doesn't matter how thin the spacers are. Company policy.

There's substantial "MISINFORMATION" here! I won't attempt to point them out individually but regarding the wheels you're anticipating buying.
Generally the dimensions of the wheel are cast on the wheel backside. Your '90 MY wheels were 9.5" with a 56mm offset. Most replicas duplicated this but there were many replicas done also for Camaros or for earlier C4's that used different offsets, You're concerned only with a fit for your '90!
If there's no offset cast on the back-side then you could measure the "back-spacing" to confirm a fit. A 9.5 with proper offset should measure something just short of 7.5".
If there's no casting information (doubtful) use a meaasuring device! If there's no tires on the wheels the "total width" of a 9.5" wheel is something near 10.5" (bead to bead +1" for flanges).
BTW - '90 - '95 ZR-1 offsets were 9.5@56 and 11@36

Here is what you need to find out. Ask the owner what year corvette they were on. Ask the offset and if all 4 are 17x9.5.
You can always measure them it's very easy to do. Google it.
If the wheels are 56 or 54 mm for all 4 they will fit no problems at all regardless of if you have the base wheel setup or z07/z51
The early models ( I think 87 and earlier) used a larger offset for the rears (numerically lower) because the hubs were narrowed (with wheels removed the rotors are more inwards from the centre point of the diff). You want to just make sure the wheels are the later offsets to fit your 90 without them sticking out. (early year cars needed spacers when running later year offsets.
