Shifter Recommendations ?
..... The new shift kit in the 700R4 has the automatic shift points way too low for the strip ... gotta shift manually ... the stock shifter can't / won't cooperate as needed ... Whats the best aftermarket shifter for the stock console ? ... I don't expect a bolt-in but wonder if there is one that's easier to fab in and nice looking installed ??? ... pics ??? .............

only one gear at a time up or down no matter how hard you shift

With shifter base mounted to the tunnel floor ,the chrome cover plate sits nicely on top of console ;
BUT shifter **** is way higher than stock which may not suit unless shaft cut down.
I don't mind it high because it is right there as your hand drops of the wheel for spirited shifting
Very functional but looks a little odd
