Yes I see what you mean; maybe the old MAF was malfunctioning because the heated wire was so dirty with the burn-off function not activated...which would mean it's only a matter of time before the new one starts to do the same ! I seem to remember having the SES light come on for a couple minutes after a hard acceleration even with the new one, just like the previous unit did when it started to malfunction.
I'll try next weekend to plug it in, I'll tell you what happens then

95 lt 1 starter no crank problem
Auto 60k, garage kept, starter completely dead, head lights bright, horn loud, car has new starter, starter relay, cables cleaned, battery fully charged, alternator ok, checked for shorts. The no start problem is happening more often. Jumping gets it started and then ok for a week or so. I think the last option are the ignition or the neutral start switch.
