I am going to install new headers soon and I was wondering if I need to buy new bolts or if I can just reuse my current ones? I know this may be a stupid question but I need to ask to be on the safe/sane side. I would hate to go through all of the work to find out that the bolts are usually replaced due to some stretching or some other non-sense. If it makes a difference, I have a 95 LT1. Also, if I need to replace the bolts, what size are they? I have seen a few listed on Summit and am not sure on the proper length. Thanks for the help.

Just did the header job on my Lt1 95, I used 3/4''long and the brand was Stage 8 ,you can use 1'' if you think you have some bad threads . If they are long tubes you are in for a real job. Good luck, not a job for the faint of heart. Do you miss Frankford or should I say Aria ?
I just did this job as well. I went with allen headed headers bolts and had to grind the base of the head on a couple to get them to freely clear the tubes. I also had to cut down an allen wrench to get the rear bolts tightened up.
I used stainless steel header bolts.. Just remember to start all the bolts into the holes first before you start to tighten them , if you don't you may not get some of them in.Also you have to go back every few days to retighten them, after 4 times mine stayed tight...
I am starting my install tomorrow and opted for the 1" long stage 8s. I will reuse the factory bolts on the ones that are used to secure other braces, etc.

They are long tubes, I got in on the group buy from ARH. So I plan on finally getting them in along with other work that I need to do. I am looking forward to it now that I have a nice garage to work in.
I didn't leave the great Aria, it isn't a bad drive for the hours that I work. My wife doesn't like the drive as much as I do but oh well, she works part time. So are you familiar with the Aria?
Did you install long tubes? How bad were they? Any tips to help make it easier?

No I had them installed, did not feel up the the challenge. I do know you should pull the plugs because you would most likely break some. I am familiar with Aria two of my cousins are plumbers there and my daughter was but is now at the New Capital in NJ. Good luck with the headers.
