Has anyone done a conversion to put C5 (or C6) spindles and hubs on a C4? Seems like it would just take adjustable/custom upper and lower arms and new spindles from AFX or LGM.
I have done a fair amount of searching, but haven't yet found anything.
Everything is different, including pick-up points for the suspension. After expending all kinds of time and money....improvement might be marginally better, but frankly I doubt it.

Interesting science project. No real gain.
Since the wife has a C5 sitting in the garage next to my C4.
There is no way without a TON of fabrication work that the C5 front suspension would fit or work on a C4.
Rear suspension why would you want to go from a 4 link to a double A-arm setup? Again a TON of fabrication work to get it to fit.
Scaryfast and a few other C4 racers are my inspiriation. One day in the southeast there will be a C4 that can run with and defeat the spec C5z06!
I was thinking about doing it (just on the front) because I'm tired of wearing out hubs (specifically bearings) after just a few days on the track.
Wasn't really wanting to change the suspension pick-up points - if there would be any way to use the existing ones with something custom to go to the new spindles.
The worst part about the hubs/bearings is that they get just a little bit of play almost immediately on the track, and you can feel the knock-back in the brakes.
Actually, right now, I'm trying to decide whether to keep it or sell it and get something else for the track. Unfortunately, I have a lot of $$ into the car that I'll never get out...

What hubs are you using????
FYI - the C5 hubs aren't much better.
I put a set of Timken front hubs on a while back. They have made it thru 3 seasons of 20+ track days and still have no play. I am using J55 brakes, otherwise its Hoosier R6's and tracks like VIR, Road Atl and CMP. I'm not the fastest guy, but I can get out of my own way

If I could find front hubs that would last 20 track days with no play, I'm not sure how I would be able to contain the joy.
I have tried just about anything and everything for the fronts. I just changed one out that was a Timken - I think I got two weekends on it. How much camber do you run? I am between 2 and 2.25 deg negative.
Every failure I've had has been just been from play in the bearings. Never a grease ejection/failure. Not that they run cool. Those brakes generate a lot of heat.
