[paging Vetts Red - JonM] timer location
I appreciate the help from you guys on the hatch and light problem. Do you know where the interior light timer is located behind dash? Is the best access through info center or breadbox or? I have replaced most of the dash plastic panels and am familar with how to dis-assemble trim pieces.

On my 84 the timer is located on the bundle of wires running behind the multiuse panel. It has electrical tape holding it to that bundle. It has a pink/white stripe wire-Pink/black striped wire- white wire- and a black wire running to it. It is a PITA...you may want to pick one up first before you dismantle everything.

Hello I don't know if the message was sent . The book fell on the key board. Looking at the picture find the area of fuse block follow the wire bundle there are two brackets the wire bundle goes through right on top is the vatts decoder module with a nut securing the module Your little jem should be under it.
