Tune after stall install?
Hi everyone, I've searched but haven't found threads on this. I think I know the answer but just want to be 100% sure. On a 92 Corvette with the 4L60/700R4 do I need to get a tune when installing a higher stall torque converter? Thanks in advance

No reason unless it results in higher shift points and you hit the rev limiter (somethimes this happends.) Good luck

Thanks guys, its just that I had heard of the 4L60E guys having to get a tune so I was just wondering if us 700R4 guys had to. However I was confused because I thought that the 700R4 was not controlled by the ECM.

ECM on a non-electronic trans only controls lock up.
