Headers for vortec heads

I need to install headers on an 87 convertible.
I'm looking at either hedman or OBX.
Has anyone installed either of these headers or a different brand on vortec heads or any straight plug head?
Any problems with clearance at the cross brace?

I had hedmans on my 86 coupe with vortec iron heads. Fit great.

I'm worried about spark plug or starter interference.
I would like to use the 68448 headers, do all the hedman headers fit the same?

How low do the hedman headers hang, any problem with the cross brace on a convertible?

i had the same 68448 on my 85 coupe vortec iron heads,fit perfect ,no interference,they fit very low,but no idea for possible x-brace interference,wait for a conv guy
