Default Oil pressure

I have an after market set of gauges. And the oil gauge does not register. Is this usually a gauge
problem, or a sending unit problem. It is a electical not a mechanical gauge.

Electric gauges are pretty simple. Red to hot, black to ground, green (or whatever to the sending unit). Are you using the correct sending unit that goes with the gauge or the stock one?

agreed...

with the electrical gauges they use a variable resistance that goes up in PSI with the greater resistance...so max psi is same as a disconnected or a broken circuit. If its reading opposite, low or no pressure its likely a bad sender. ck the connections on everything. The stock senders can be quite goofy....starting at 80 psi and going lower with rpm increases...

Changed the sending unit, still no oil pressure.

Have you got 12V at gauge?
Is it wired up correctly.?
Meter the wire between gauge and sender. to see if it actually goes there
If it does touch wire at sender to block; if gauge doesn't move then time for a new gauge I suspect
