I have heard of people taking the front calipers from the 13" brake setup and putting them on the rear.
Can I take my extra set of 13" front brake calipers and put them on the rear with out any other mods? Will the 13" front brakes fit in the braket on the rear? Is the rotor smaller in the back? For some reason I think the back is only a 12" setup. Is this correct?
You are correct about the rear being 12". I don't see why you would want to equalize the brake system front to rear. Seems you want bigger brakes upfront to keep the car from a) locking up in the rear. b) rear end coming around during hard braking.....I guess you could do it provided you don't have a reason to need a parking brake any longer since there are no provisions for one on the front caliper assy.
Thanks,
I do have the brake bias spring and I use PF Z rated pads.
I don't want to lose the parking brake though. Just throwing some ideas around. IMO, can't have too much stopping power for the track.
