Default '94 LT1 Difficulty starting

I have a '94 coupe, when it has sat for 4-5 days without being started, it is very difficult to start. It seems like it is not getting any spark,
as it turns over really fast, and then runs rough for about 30-60 seconds with black smoke out of the tail pipes. However, after this, it is fine and starts up without any problems. Also if it has been driven consecutively for a few days it is also fine. Does this seem to be more of an opti
problem, or plugs, or coil ? It is the original opti and the car has 76K. Thanks.

My '94 does the exact same thing. I have changed the plugs, wires, and Opti recently., though, and still get this problem, so I doubt those are the culprits. I was leaning towards leaking fuel injectors, leaking fuel pressure regulator, or clogged fuel filter. The fuel filter is the cheapest fix, so I'll try that first. The FPR is more $$, but I've heard that you can see the fuel leaking out, so it should be easy to spot. Injectors will just have to wait...

Mine starts rough after sitting for a few days. I'm guessing my injectors need to be replaced (140K+ miles). Fuel may drain down and pool on top of the valves. But this is just a guess at this point.

One of the three ;) :jester. I would lean more towards a leaky injector since he said there is black smoke. That implies rich and if it's only there after sitting a couple days.. that's nother reason it would be the injectors.
