Intermittment rough performance
Hello,
I have recently taken my 85 out of winter storage. All was well as I drove for the first 30 minutes or so. Without warning I began to have a hesitation in the running of the car which would go away and then return. This was all street driving (no freeway). The check engine light did not come on, Though it does come on when I drive on the freeway.
Any help is appreciated.

Pull the code.
If it comes on after about 2minutes of freeway driving it's likely the EGR. It may have gotten stuck from all the carbon buildup during winter storage.

Hello,
If the EGR is failing, can the unit be cleaned and reused? Also are These units sold in neighborhood auto supply stores or is this an order item or dealer item.

the only code i see on mine is a code 32: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit, and that still doesnt tell me what part of the egr is screwed up......am i missing something :confused:
