New top does not fit
Hello,
My top for my 85 has a crack in it so my bud with an 88 sold me his old top. Problem is the top won't fit. I know that the clips need to be changed, but it seems that the size of the top itself is off.
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

You will have to buy the upgrade kit sold from MAD or Ecklers. It will cost you about $100. Once installed just losen up the mounting bolts on the new top and srew it down to line everything up. Once done tighten the adjustment bolts and your done. Had to do this with my 85. Not to difficult once you get the update kit.
