Need some help..
I live in Jersey(Northern) and I'm looking for a rear, Ive been on the hunt for a year now, I'm looking for a Dana 44(G92 option) with the 3.07 gears, I'm glad I'm still looking because I don't know how much $$ I should dish out. What to look for, is there a code stamped on the pumpkin? If I were to find one, how would I know it has 3.07 gears? Can I check/inspect the teeth? This is my last and final major piece for my vette and I want to make sure I do it right

I would say $1000 to $1500, but under $1000 can be found.
You need to find the batwing, pumpkin with gear, C beam and drive shaft.
The build date and gear ratio is usually written on the bottom of the pumpkin.
You can count the teeth on the gears to figure out what gear it has.
