Advice for Burning 85 Chip
When I installed my 396 Super Ram earlier this year I got a custom chip mail order. We have been back and forth a few times trying to dial it in. I finally decided to do the final tweaking myself. I ordered an OBD-1 Tune Kit from Tuner Cat. I should have it tomorrow. I've got three areas I want to work on. 1) Spark Table-I've been getting pinging in the 2-3000 RPM range under load. I assume the Spark vs. Load vs. RPM Table is where I need to make corrections. 2) I want to get the BLMs closer to 128. I'm assuming the Inj Pulse Width vs. Load is the correct table. This is probably the area that will require the most tries to get right. 3) Target RPM-My RPM seems to fluctuate too much. Does the Target Idle vs. Coolant sound like the right place?
