clutch issue, wierd symptoms
Have a 89, the clutch disengages competely at about 50%, which is fine and engages and locks up fine. However when I first start driving it is light and as I travel it gets harder and harder to depress. nothing I can handle but then it gets inconsistent. Light from first to second, heavy the next shift, then I feel as if it doesn't disengage fully inbetween shift sometimes.
Like I said when I start its fine. Now if I hold the clutch there is no pressure leaking or anything, just stays solidly disengaged.
Is this a bad master, slave, or should I try bleeding again? Or just trash the car....

Sounds like your pressure plate is acting up. You have a diaphram type plate with centrifical weights that should make for light pedal pressure but increased clamping load as rpms increase. Something is not right. Maybe the weights are not moving correctly. Change out the plate before you change cars.
