Error: FLASH Memory Checksum Error
I'm attempting to do a "read" via WinFLASH of the stock tune, and for some reason, "Error: FLASH Memory Checksum Error" followed by "Error: Incorrect Message Sent" pop up at the end of the read, and I'm forced to abort. Any ideas as to how I could get around this? I read the FLASH help section of WinFLASH and found an explanation for both, but no way around them/fix them. Should I just go ahead and install my new tune? I just disconnected the battery as I'm hoping resetting the PCM will solve everything. Could this have something to do with me possibly installing the wrong driver for the ALDL cable? I'm running WinFLASH in XP SP2 compatibility mode, yet the drivers I downloaded are for Windows 7.
