I need to know if someone can tell me from the info given here(350 CHEVY SHORT BLOCK
COMPLETE WITH OIL PAN
CAN BE RUN AS IS OR GOOD CORE TO REBUILD
1 PIECE REAR MAIN SEAL 90'S VINTAGE) Can I put my intake and heads on this short block and have it work in my 87 C4? The pistons look like flat tops with valve reliefs. Thank you for any and all help! Troy.
Block is same as your '87
Will need your oil pan and oil pickup
Compression may vary dependent on how different the pistons are to the ones in your engine
May or not be roller cam;
many 1 pce blocks machined for roller cam but fitted with flat tappet cams when installed in trucks

The guy that has this block gave me these numbers and I can't find them any where. K1024FBM and THS506071. I'm thinking it's an early to mid 90's 4 bolt main 350. How can I tell if it is machined for the roller cam?
What I'm trying to do is build a 383. I'm going all forged lower end. Porting my heads to match a FIRST intake and would like to get a bigger roller assembly.
